Join us on Thursday, June 18 at 7:30 pm for a Zoom Challah Bake by Rochie Pinson on Facebook. This is baking as well as discussion, so get out all of your necessary cooking tools and ingredients. Please register below so that we may send you the Zoom link.

RECIPE INFORMATION

These are the amounts for a full recipe (8 loaves). It can be halved or quartered. A whole recipe will use 13-15 cups, a half about 7-7.5 and a quarter recipe (2 loaves) approx. 3-3.25 cups.

1 5lb bag of flour (white, white whole wheat or spelt)

1.5 cups of sugar
3 envelopes (about 7tsp) active dry yeast
2.5 Tbsp sea salt
3-5 large eggs (will depend on the flour being used)
1 cup canola oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
Very warm water (4.75/2/1 cups) respectively
